Our hotel in Ridnaun is located in the Wipptal valley, in the northern part of South Tyrol. You can get here easily using either public transport or private means… Here are the directions.
Arrival
Arriving by car
If you are travelling by car from the north, take the A13 and A22 motorways over the Brenner pass. 18 km after the pass, take the Sterzing exit and follow directions to Ridanna/Ridnaun. Coming from the south, the A22 Sterzing exit lies about 30 km north of Bressanone/Brixen.
Arriving by train and bus
As environmentally conscious Alpine Pearls hosts, we are committed to green mobility and zero-mile cuisine.
We invite our guests to give their car a holiday too, and visit us travelling by public transport. A car-free journey is not only environmentally friendly, but above all relaxing. Coming by bus and train, you will be free to unplug and enjoy the view of the Alps even before arriving at your destination. Long-distance buses travel regularly to South Tyrol from Germany and Austria (Flixbus) as well as to and from Switzerland (Südtirol Express).
We will be happy to inform you about alternative travel options and sustainable activities and destinations for your tours.
The train station closest to Gassenhof is Vipiteno/Sterzing, approx. 12 km from here. From there, you can take advantage of the excellently connected bus network to Ridnaun. To make your journey easier and more pleasant, we will be happy to help you plan your trip and – if desired – to pick you up at the station on arrival. If you wish to take advantage of this service, please let us know in advance when you’re arriving.
Eco-friendly travel
Once you have arrived at our hotel, you do not need a car to be mobile. In winter, the ski bus takes you directly to the lift of Racines/Ratschings. Furthermore, there is a bus going regularly to Vipiteno/Sterzing. Additionally, you are welcome to rent our electric car on a car-sharing basis to explore South Tyrol in a more ecological way.
